Kids Ministry
Welcome!
Our kids ministry focuses on teaching children about God and how to read and love the Bible. We teach through fun events, music, games, and engaging Bible studies. During part of the worship service, kids in Preschool–Grade 5 are invited to go downstairs for a lesson just for them. Kids are also welcome to stay in the service.
Nursery
Birth - Age 5
Our nursery is a safe, secure, and fun place for your kids on Sunday mornings. Our nursery allows kids to play, sing, and learn about their faith. Babies and toddlers can enjoy story time from the Frolic First Bible or one of the Frolic books. We also provide resources for parents to help raise their children in the faith.
Our nursery program (located in Room 105) is offered every Sunday during the worship service.
Journey Kids
Sundays During Worship
After the children’s moment in the worship service, kids in Preschool–Grade 5 are invited to go downstairs for a lesson just for them. Kids have a Bible lesson, watch a video, and have fun activities that reinforce the day’s lesson.
Special Events
Throughout the year, we host a number of special events with kids in mind. Each year we have an Easter egg hunt, a Fall Festival, a Christmas nativity, and more. Check the church calendar for the latest fun event for kids coming up!
Summer Camp
at Camp Dickenson
Summer camp is a great time for kids to grow in their faith while having fun in God’s creation. Camp Dickenson is a Christian camping experience in Fries, Virginia, and our church offers discounts for kids from our congregation to attend.
We take safety seriously.
All of our staff and volunteers go through background checks and training before serving.
